Dear Students, Parents and Community Members,

I would like to welcome you to our Green Pines family! We are fortunate to have you join us! Whether you are a returning student/family, or new to us, you have become a part of an incredible community!

Green Pines Elementary is committed to doing whatever it takes to help every child reach their full potential. We strive to empower our students to use their voice and become self-advocates as well as seek opportunities to express themselves through academics, arts, and leadership! We strive to foster a love of learning, support growing curiosity, nurture accountability to our community, and develop ownership for choices and actions. We are incredibly fortunate to have a tremendously dedicated staff who bring their whole heart, passion and creativity each and every day. They are masters at engaging children and creating learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of all of our students.

We use our core values to lead our work with students and each other:

G - Grateful and Forgiving
A - Accepting of Others
T - Trustworthy
O - Owner of My Actions
R - Respectful and Responsible
S - Safe and Supportive

Collaboration between school and families is essential for student success. We believe in a partnership between school and home and we are committed to working together to create the best experience for your student(s). Please be an active participant in your child’s education and engage with our school community! We have numerous opportunities for you to connect with our school community! If you have trouble finding a good fit, please reach out to Mrs. Schott or our PTO! We can’t wait to partner with you to make amazing memories and travel this journey with you and your child(ren). Together we can create a caring, stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, supports social and emotional learning and grows life-long learners!

Sincerely,

Angela Schott, Ed.S.
