• Call to order at 6:19pm
• New Attendee Welcome 
• Approval of minutes from the August meeting (Christina, Secretary) 1^st was Lori and 2^nd was Erica.

 

• Officers’ Reports

• Clean up volunteers 
  • Angie approved, 1 will be through MHS and the second through wildwood middle 
• Best Buddy Update
  • Susan got Grant from Walmart 
• Yearbook discussion
  • No, we will not be involved

  • Website refresh 
• Trivia Update
  • Sept committee being formed after Boosterthon
    • Committee Lead will be Lauren M. and Susan N will be heavily involved and approximately 4 other people. 
• Vision screening volunteers - 1 for whole day, or 1 for each ½\
  • Action: Sara will post for volunteers 
• Picture Day volunteers - 2 for whole day, or 2 for each ½

VP of Fundraising Lori Richmeyer

• Gator Gear update 
  • Will be delivered this week, we sold: $339
  • Next sale will be Nov
  • Cash and carry table with socks and bows. 
  • Bows update
  • Sale of gear online update from August sale
  • Croc Charms: They will be sold at the book fair so decision to hold for now. 
    • cheapest for custom was ~1.60 a piece but buying ~200 units up front.  Turn around time was ~6 weeks. 
    • Lori will look into generic Gators,
• Restaurant night updates
  • Next one is Panda Express 
• Papa John Night v Restaurant night?
  • Papa John Is Rockwood wide separate from PTO
• Boosterthon update 
  • Parents all have to stay outside so that they do not have to sign into the office. 
  • Registration is open now. 
  • Bubble Bus booked Sept 30^th from 1:30- 3
  • Volunteers needed for the week
    • 3 rounds of runners. 2 volunteers per grade. 
• Times:
  • 8:45-9:45 2^nd and 5^th 
  • 9:45-10:45 Kdg and 3^rd
  • 1:25- 2:25 1^st and 4th

 

 VP of Community Events Lindsey Lawson

• Trunk or Treat update Oct 12^th 
  • Volunteers sign needs a lead + 2 shifts of 4,  Include flyer,  form for spot sign up.  
  • Info going out on PS on 9/11
  • Book fair will be included 

VP of School Support Jackie Gallagher

• Snack Day dates 9/26, 11/19, 1/29 and 3/14
  • 3/14 pie snack day sponsored by Natoli family
  • Kaylin Oshin “Always Cakin”
  • Brett  has been contacted and will be working to see if he can get other sponsors. 
• Adopt A Gator Update-  42 staff members signed up, we need 5 more volunteers to cover. 
• Conference Meal update
  • Corner pub ($475) will be the 23^rd  and then for the 21^st still underway 
  • Try Mulligans and Gastropit 
• Rehash reading hammock convo
  • 16 hammocks in an L shape. Adult size so 2 kids can go on each. ~ 400Lbs 
  • If taken care of, they should last years.

  • How many need to be trashed 15
• New Family Welcome recap
• Fall party update- October 16
  • Fall Festival: 4 rotations if good weather 3 rotations if bad weather
    • Craft room: bracelets and stress balls: scratch stress balls 
    • Games in the gym pumpkin bowling etc. 
    • If nice outside obstacle course dig through hay 
    • Stem: making lava lamps out of bottles currently at Sara’s
